We are sorry to hear that James J. "Jim" Warren, Jr., the son of James J. "J.J." Warren, a renowned poultry breeder, has recently died at the age of 83. We offer our deepest condolences to his family, who were at his bedside when he passed away on 21 February 2012.

Technical support on the ground backed by the analytical resources of Hendrix Genetics is the bedrock of the Joice and Hill philosophy, which also involves regular reviews with nutrition suppliers and veterinarians.

Geneticist predicts 500 eggs in 100 weeks!

Dutch Geneticist Frans Van Sambeek has startled the poultry world by predicting that their breeds will soon be capable of depletion at up to 100 weeks old by which time they will have laid 500 eggs. Frans, who is Director of Layer Breeding at Hendrix Genetics says this means that the flock will need to average 86% production!
